The UTEP Flute Studio typically includes about 15-20 students pursuing degrees in music education, performance, composition, and commercial music, among others. We also welcome music minors and non-music majors. All flute students receive one-hour weekly lessons and attend weekly studio classes and flute choir rehearsals. Students audition every semester for large ensembles such as UTEP Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Symphony Orchestra.
